Over Sea and Land

This eArticle is a unit history telling the story of the small unit Küstenfliegergruppe 806 that started its life as a maritime unit. Somewhat shortly after its creation the unit turned into a conventional Luftwaffe bomber unit operating the Junkers 88, and under its new designation of Kampfgruppe 806, it flew with success over Britain, the Baltic and North Seas, Russia and in the Mediterranean.
